This piece I wanted to do as a show of admiration for one of my favorite R&B Soul singers from the 90's, D'Angelo. In light of his passing, I wanted to show reverence to his contributions to the genre, and his impact on modern male soul artist through his visuals and unique sound. In this piece I did my own interpretation of his brown sugar cover.
